Breaking News: TWISTED SISTER Recruits Sebastian Bach for Fall 2026 Shows and We’re Still Trying to Process This Information 🤯

In a shocking turn of events, TWISTED SISTER has announced that Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for their fall 2026 shows. Because, you know, the world was just missing that one thing: Sebastian Bach singing “We’re Not Gonna Take It” in a band that’s not SKID ROW. Jay Jay French, the band’s guitarist, said in an interview with Tim Caple of Rock ‘N’ Blues Experience: “Sebastian really is the only person that could do it. He’s the only larger-than-life guy with the chops and the stage presence to do it.” We’re not sure what’s more surprising, the fact that Bach is joining TWISTED SISTER or that French thinks he’s the only person who could do it.

The Reason Behind the Decision

According to French, Dee Snider’s health challenges led to his resignation from the band. Snider apparently has arthritis, and his knees are not what they used to be. We’re no doctors, but it’s probably not a good idea to jump around on stage when you have bone-on-bone contact. French said: “When people talk about what you can and can’t do, enough already. Here’s the bottom line… This is my comment about it. It’s either gonna work or it’s not gonna work. The public buys it or they don’t buy it.” Well, we’re definitely buying it… or at least, we’re curious to see how this whole thing plays out.

French also addressed the criticism that the band is carrying on without Snider, saying: “Right now [LYNYRD] SKYNYRD is touring with nobody [from the original lineup] in the band. Right now FOREIGNER’s touring with nobody [from the original lineup] in the band. If you didn’t like the band, don’t go.” Fair point, Jay Jay. But let’s be real, SKYNYRD and FOREIGNER are not TWISTED SISTER. Although, we have to admit, it’s pretty cool that Bach is a huge fan of the band and has been given Snider’s blessing to carry on the legacy.

What to Expect from the Shows

Bach has promised to bring his signature energy to the shows, saying: “I’m the lead singer of TWISTED SISTER. How much fun is that to say? I love saying that, so I’m really looking forward to it.” He’s also stated that he’ll be performing the band’s classic songs, including “I Wanna Rock” and “The Price”. We’re not sure what’s more exciting, the fact that Bach is singing these songs or that he’s going to have a nicer dressing room than he does with his solo band.

The band’s 2026 shows will feature Bach, French, and Eddie Ojeda, with Russell Pzütto on bass and Joey Cassata on drums. Because, you know, the most important thing is that the music survives, even if the original members don’t. French said: “In the 53-year history of the band, we’ve had 20 people who’ve been in and out of TWISTED SISTER. We’ve had five singers, we’ve had three bass players, we’ve had four guitar players and we’ve had nine drummers. Half of them are dead.” Wow, that’s… quite a mortality rate. Maybe they should start a support group for former TWISTED SISTER members.

Anyway, the shows are happening, and we’re… cautiously optimistic? Bach is a great singer, and TWISTED SISTER’s music is still awesome, even if it’s not the original lineup. So, if you’re a fan of the band or just want to see what all the fuss is about, grab your tickets and get ready to rock. Just don’t forget to bring your earplugs, because it’s going to get loud. 🤘
