OMG! 😱 Epic Games is feeling SUPER generous, or maybe they just found a dusty old character in the attic 🧹, because they’re giving away a FREE Yuki Yubari Fortnite skin! Yes, you heard it right, FREE! As in, zero V-Bucks, zilch, nada! But hold your horses 🐴, this isn’t a charity event, it’s a marketing ploy disguised as a gift for the “Kill Bill” (or should we say “Barely Bill”?) season.
So, apparently, every season Epic Games blesses (or curses 😈) us with extra digital junk to shove into our lockers, all in the name of “immersion.” Last time it was Juice WRLD, now it’s Yuki Yubari. Who even IS Yuki Yubari? 🤔 Some character that didn’t even make the final cut of the movie. But hey, who needs plot when you’ve got skins, amirite? Check out the trailer below. It’s got all the explosions 💥 and suspense you’d expect from a game that features dancing bananas 🍌 and superheroes doing the floss.
According to an “official blog post” (aka the gospel according to Epic), if you log in between November 27th and December 1st (because they know you have no life anyway), you’ll get this Yuki Yubari skin. It’s like finding a twenty dollar bill in your old jeans 👖, except the jeans are a digital wasteland and the twenty dollar bill is a character nobody remembers.
When Chapter Seven 🙄 (yes, SEVEN! How original) of Fortnite Battle Royale launches, you’ll get the Yuki Yubari Outfit automatically. No extra steps, no hidden quests, just pure, unadulterated, free skin goodness! Now you can run around pretending to be someone important while getting sniped by a 10-year-old in a Peely outfit.
The new season will supposedly replace the Simpsons-themed season. Did someone even notice the Simpson Season? Anyway, the season marks the grand unveiling of the “lost chapter” of Kill Bill, not as a film, but as a live-service video game skin. Because why bother with actual storytelling when you can throw a character into a battle royale where Goku can fight Johnny Silverhand? Anything can happen in Fortnite, folks! Anything!
The fight begins in Fortnite Zero Hour on November 29th at 2 PM ET.
