OMG! 🙄 Tommy Lee, bless his heart, is STILL talking about John 5 joining Mötley Crüe? Like, we GET it, Tommy. John 5 is the shiny new toy that replaced Mick Mars, who, let’s be real, was probably thrilled to finally escape the never-ending circus that is the Crüe. 🎪 But seriously, are we still pretending this isn’t all about the $$$? 💰
So, Tommy, in his infinite wisdom (or lack thereof), told John The Metal Mailman (who?) that John 5 brought “insane new fire” 🔥 to the band. Oh, Tommy, honey, “insane” is probably the best way to describe it. I mean, replacing a legend like Mick with someone who’s basically a shredding robot? 🤖 Sounds about right for a band that peaked in the ’80s and is now desperately clinging to relevance. And the “everyone had to step up their game” comment? LOL. 😂 As if Vince Neil can suddenly hit those high notes again. Dream on, Tommy, dream on.
Tommy also compared himself to Ozzy Osbourne, saying they both remain fans of what they do. Uh, Tommy, last I checked, Ozzy’s had a few health issues of his own. Maybe focus on your drumming instead of trying to relate to a metal god. Just a thought. 🤔
Then we have John 5, who’s apparently BFFs with everyone in the band, especially Mick. “I love Mick Mars,” he says. “He’s very supportive and really happy I was there.” Yeah, I’m sure Mick’s thrilled to be replaced by a guy who looks like he belongs in a Marilyn Manson tribute band. 🙄 Good for you John for taking a gig, but don’t act like this is about “friendship.” It’s about the paycheck, baby! 💸
And of course, John 5 will continue his solo career because, you know, he needs to remind everyone he’s actually talented outside of Mötley Crüe. Good luck with that, buddy. 🍀
John 5 also whined about how hard it was to leave Rob Zombie’s band, but he just HAD to “experience life.” Translation: “I wanted to get paid a ton of money to play the same old songs to a bunch of nostalgia-hungry boomers.” 👴👵
“It feels like life is brand new again,” John 5 gushed. “It’s like when you get a new girlfriend or something.” Dude, you’re replacing a guy with a debilitating illness. Maybe tone down the enthusiasm a bit? 😬
Nikki Sixx chimed in, saying he’s been friends with John 5 “forever.” Right, because “forever” means since Mick got too sick to tour. And apparently, Nikki and John 5 just sit around playing guitar and talking about the ’70s. Sounds riveting. 😴
Nikki also claims that John 5 gives them “a great opportunity as a three-piece to really lock in.” So, basically, they’re admitting Mick was holding them back? Ouch. 🤕
And let’s not forget about Mick’s lawsuit, where he claimed Nikki didn’t play a single note on bass during the entire 2022 stadium tour. 👀 Nikki’s response? “Sad day for us and we don’t deserve this.” Oh, the irony. 🤣
But hey, at least Mick likes John 5. “He’s been a really good friend of mine for a long time,” he said. Aww, isn’t that sweet? 🥰 Maybe they can start a band together called “The Ex-Crüe Crew.” 🤘
In conclusion, this whole situation is a dumpster fire 🔥 of ego, money, and desperation. Mötley Crüe is desperately trying to stay relevant, John 5 is cashing in, and Mick Mars is probably just happy to be away from it all. And we, the fans, are left wondering if this is truly the end. 🙏
