I was worried they’d tone it down for the kiddies 👶, but nah, heads explode like watermelons at a Gallagher show. 🍉 Blood EVERYWHERE. I sucked at the game 🎮, but hey, at least it LOOKED cool when my head went flying off. 🤣

I got to play with Invincible (duh 🙄), Atom Eve (because equality 👍), Bulletproof (who?), and Thula (who AGAIN?). I mained Thula because… reasons. 😈 You pick three characters, and YES, you can pick the same character three times if you’re into that kind of thing. 🤷♀️ Your opponent can, too, so get ready for some mirror matches from hell. 🔥
Like every other fighting game ever made 😴, Invincible VS has combos. You can “master” them, or you can do what I did and just mash buttons like a chimpanzee playing a keyboard. 🐒 Surprisingly, it almost worked! The dev (bless his heart 🙏) showed me some fancy tricks, like tagging in your backup dancers without actually tagging them in. 💃🕺
The tag-team stuff is kinda cool, I guess. You can swap characters or call them in for a quick smackdown. Some assists are just a punch, others are like, full-on cinematic finishers. Straight from the show, they say. 🙄 As if anyone asked for that.

The arenas are flat. Like, REALLY flat. City, planet, whatever. Gameplay’s the same. 🤷♂️ They added some rocks and snow for ✨ambiance✨, but who cares? I’m here to explode heads, not admire the scenery. 🏞️
Overall, Invincible VS is a fighting game. Shocker. 😲 If you like fighting games, you’ll probably like this. If you’re an Invincible fan who’s never played a fighting game, you might like this too. Or you might just go back to watching the show. 📺 Who knows? It’s easy to pick up, hard to master, blah blah blah. Team building will be a thing, apparently. Get ready to spend hours theory-crafting your perfect trio of doom. 🤓

My time with Invincible VS was short. Like my attention span. 🤪 It’s a game. You fight. Heads explode. Fun times. 🎉 It might be a good party game, or it might be another forgotten fighter in a sea of mediocrity. 🌊 Only time will tell. ⏳
