That’s right, folks — the man who once made your eardrums bleed is now auctioning off his precious gear on Reverb.com. Move over, garage sales; it’s time for a rockstar liquidation!
Starting Wednesday, March 18, you can own a piece of rock history — or at least a very loud piece of wood with some busted cymbals attached. The sale includes drum kits from Jay‘s illustrious career, including the one he used during Bruce Springsteen‘s 2009 “Working On A Dream” tour. Because nothing says “dream” like smashing drums in front of thousands of screaming fans, right?
But wait, there’s more! Jay is also selling his stage-worn masks and outfits. Yes, you too can dress like a mysterious, slightly terrifying musician — perfect for scaring your neighbors or just confusing your cat. And for the true collectors, there are signed drum heads, sticks, and even tour posters. Some of these items were designed by Jay himself, proving that his artistic talents extend beyond making a racket.
Jay‘s departure from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES in January 2025 was just the beginning of his new life as a musical nomad. After joining the band in March 2024 (yes, he was with them for less time than it takes to binge-watch a Netflix series), he’s now focusing on other projects. Like his debut solo track, “Sandstone,” featuring George Clarke of DEAFHEAVEN. Because nothing says “solo career” like releasing one song and calling it a series.
