Guess Team Rocket finally blasted off for good… into the afterlife! 🚀🌌
According to a tear-jerking Facebook post by his wife, Martha Jacobi (who we’re sure is just THRILLED with all the attention now 😉), JCC peacefully croaked in the early hours of Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. Apparently, he was trying to find rare Pokemon cards in the hospital! 🚑 She even had the audacity to thank “Jimmy’s fans” for giving him joy! 🤣 As if he wasn’t just in it for the fat stacks of cash 💰 and the eternal glory of being the voice of Meowth, ya know, that talking cat who always screws up! 😹
For like, EVER, this dude was the voice of every other character in Pokémon. Gary Oak, Professor Oak, James from Team Rocket – basically, if a character had a speaking role, JCC probably voiced it! 🎤 Bet he couldn’t even order a coffee without accidentally sounding like Meowth. ☕️ And let’s not forget his *stellar* performance as Snubbull in Pokémon: Pikachu’s Vacation. Truly, a role that will be remembered for generations to come. NOT! 🐶
But wait, there’s more! 🤡 Turns out, Cathcart wasn’t just about pocket monsters. He also lent his vocal chords to the villainous Weevil Underwood in Yu-Gi-Oh, forever immortalized for tossing those precious Exodia cards overboard. 🚢 Talk about a career highlight!
