Aaron Lewis Sings ‘Am I The Only One’ to Charlie Kirk: God’s Favorite Patriot Gets a Tune

Aaron Lewis Colin

Ah, yes, another groundbreaking moment in modern music history. 🙄 STAIND’s very own deep thinker, Aaron Lewis, took a break from pondering the complexities of… well, whatever it is he ponders, to dedicate his thought-provoking anthem “Am I The Only One” to none other than the dearly departed (allegedly) Charlie Kirk. A true meeting of the minds, if I do say so myself. 🤡

Before gracing the audience in Chesterfield, Missouri with his sonic masterpiece, Aaron enlightened them with these profound words: “ They took someone very special away from us. He was a father, he was a husband, he was a patriot. He truly believed in the word of God. They thought they silenced a voice. They awakened a fucking army. I dedicate this song tonight in memory of Mr. Charlie Kirk.” One can only assume this “army” is armed with strongly worded tweets and an encyclopedic knowledge of conspiracy theories. 🤔

Charlie Kirk, described as a right-wing American activist and influencer (because “provocateur” and “professional outrage merchant” are so passé), was apparently “shot and killed” in early September at a Utah college event. Sources say it was a “political assassination,” though some might call it the inevitable result of constantly stoking the fires of division. 🔥

U.S. president Donald Trump (you know, the guy who definitely isn’t divisive) hailed Kirk as a “great American hero” and “martyr” during a speech at a memorial service in Arizona. Apparently, “hero” now means “someone who says controversial things to own the libs”. 🤷‍♂️ Of course, Charlie was often criticized for his “fiery, combative style.” Others might say he was a purveyor of misinformation and fear-mongering, but potato, potahto. 🥔

The alleged perp, Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old who probably just wanted to be left alone, is registered as “inactive” politically. Shocking, I know. No evidence has emerged connecting Robinson with any outside group, but that won’t stop the internet sleuths from crafting elaborate narratives involving shadowy cabals and deep state conspiracies. 🕵️‍♂️

Meanwhile, Aaron Lewis, who is definitely not just pandering to a specific demographic for attention and record sales, made headlines in September 2021 when he encouraged his fans to chant “Fuck Joe Biden” during a STAIND concert. Real classy, Aaron. Real classy. 🙄

In a January 2020 interview, Lewis declared that the first Donald Trump impeachment was the clearest representation of what’s wrong with America. Because, you know, accountability is the real problem. 🙄

Lewis, a staunch critic of President Barack Obama, once said that Obama should have been impeached because every decision he made was “against the Constitution.” Apparently, Aaron is an expert on constitutional law now. Who knew? 👨‍⚖️

Back in 2016, Lewis said he would support Trump, even though he was “disappointed” by the real estate mogul’s “bickering and name-calling.” Because integrity and principles are just suggestions, right? 🤷‍♂️

In June 2021, Lewis accused the U.S. Democratic Party of fighting against every major civil rights initiative. A bold claim coming from someone who probably hasn’t read a history book since high school (if he even went). 📚

In March 2022, Lewis declared that he doesn’t blindly listen to information from the mainstream media. “I’m not uneducated; I’m actually really smart,” he said. “I look for myself.” Which apparently involves Telegram channels and Tucker Carlson. Because that’s where the real unbiased truth is, folks. 🤦‍♂️
The video’s credit goes to DeadMike.com, and I recommend checking that out if you’re up for some interesting concert stuff. 🎤
