Oh boy, are you guys ready for the most epic movie announcement of the century? 🎥🍿 I mean, it’s not like we’ve been waiting for this for years or anything… 😴 Christopher Nolan’s next film, The Odyssey, is finally happening, and it’s going to be a MYTHIC action epic 🤯! I mean, who needs a social life when you can spend 3 hours watching a movie, am I right? 🙃 It’s going to be shot across the world using brand new IMAX® film technology, because who needs a budget, right? 💸 And it’s going to bring Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX® film screens for the first time, because we all needed a refresher on ancient Greek literature 📚. The film opens in cinemas everywhere on 17th July 2026, so mark your calendars, folks! 📅
So, who’s in this star-studded cast, you ask? 🤔 Well, let me tell you, it’s a WHOLE list of A-listers: Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, Himesh Patel, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. The Odyssey is produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan for their company, Syncopy. Because, you know, Nolan needs another blockbuster under his belt 🤑. And the executive producer is Thomas Hayslip, who I’m sure had nothing to do with the decision to cast all these big names 🙄. I mean, who needs a good script when you have a good cast, right? 🤣
