In the upcoming movie Mutiny, Jason Statham plays Cole Reed, a guy who witnesses his billionaire boss’s murder and is framed for the crime. Because, you know, that’s not a cliché at all 🙄. Anyway, Cole decides to board a cargo ship to avenge his boss’s death, because apparently, that’s the best way to solve a murder mystery 🚢. And, of course, he discovers an international conspiracy, because what’s a Jason Statham movie without a convoluted plot? 🤯
The film is directed by Jean-François Richet, who probably thought, “You know what would be a great idea? Putting Jason Statham on a boat and having him punch people for two hours!” 🤣 And, hey, who can blame him? It’s not like we haven’t seen this exact same movie before 🙄. The film also stars Annabelle Wallis, Roland Møller, and Adrian Lester, who are all probably thinking, “Why did we sign up for this?” 🤷♀️
Mutiny hits cinemas on 21st August 2026, because summer is the perfect time to watch a mindless action movie 🌞. And, hey, who knows, maybe it’ll be so bad that it’s good 🤣.
