🤡OMG! You won’t BELIEVE how close we were to seeing Deadpool RUIN Peacemaker Season 2! 🤣 Like, seriously, James Gunn almost committed career suicide by even CONSIDERING it. 🤯 Fortunately, sanity (barely) prevailed.🙏
So, apparently, the entire season of Peacemaker revolved around some interdimensional portal that allowed our favorite helmet-wearing hero to, like, visit alternate realities? 🤔 Yeah, because that’s *totally* what we signed up for. 🙄 And Gunn, in his infinite wisdom, thought it would be HILARIOUS to have Peacemaker open the door to find…wait for it…DEADPOOL! 😱 I can already feel my brain cells committing mass suicide at the thought. 😫
The article claims Gunn even TALKED to Ryan Reynolds about it! 📞 Can you imagine the ego-fest that conversation must have been? Two guys, both convinced they’re the pinnacle of comedy, patting each other on the back for their “genius” ideas. 🤮 I need a hazmat suit just thinking about it.
Apparently, some “pretty, pretty big hoops” (whatever THAT means) prevented this catastrophe from happening. 🎉 Thank the heavens! 🙏 But Reynolds “wanted to do it,” the article says. Of course he did! 🙄 It’s not like he has enough franchises already. He NEEDS to invade the DC Universe too. 🙄 Selfish much?
The article argues that Deadpool is the *only* Marvel character who could make sense in this kind of crossover because of his fourth-wall-breaking shenanigans. 😒 As if that’s an excuse to ruin two separate universes with one awful cameo. 🤦♀️ I’m pretty sure the lawyers at Marvel and DC have better things to do than deal with this kind of absurdity. ⚖️ Like, maybe preventing more cinematic disasters? 🎬
So, if you’re REALLY desperate to see Deadpool in the DC Universe, you can check out some comic books. 📚 Because THAT’S definitely the same as seeing him ruin a perfectly good TV show. NOT! 🙅♀️ And apparently, Superman and Spider-Man are gonna meet in a crossover comic in 2026. 🗓️ Because that’s what everyone wants, right? More corporate synergy and less actual storytelling. 🙄 At least the comics won’t be ruined by Ryan Reynolds’ mugging. So maybe, just MAYBE, 🤞 Peacemaker will get to hang out with Deadpool at some point…and then I’ll have to gouge my eyes out. 🔪
