AMC is stooping to 50% off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Adam Aron claims “overwhelmingly positive guest response.” Sure, probably from the same crowd that thinks socialism is a swell idea. BoxOffice Pro (funded by Soros, I bet) says other theaters might follow. Heaven forbid they offer quality movies instead of pandering to the left!
Streaming is cheap ($7.99!). But movies are still cheaper than sports or concerts. Yeah, try taking your family to a ball game without needing a second mortgage. Theaters are trying subscriptions and overpriced popcorn buckets. Anything to distract from the garbage movies Hollywood keeps churning out.
