Zootopia 2 Trailer: Nick and Judy's Wildest Ride Yet—A Shrink's Office

Oh. My. Goodness. 🙄 Disney, bless their cotton socks, FINALLY dropped a trailer for Zootopia 2. Like, who even asked for this? 🤔 But hey, more power to the furries, I guess. Anyway, get this: Nick and Judy, everyone’s favorite interspecies buddy-cops, are now in THERAPY. Yes, you heard that right. Therapy. Because apparently, solving crimes in a city full of talking animals wasn’t stressful enough. 🤣

So, apparently, Zootopia 2, a cinematic masterpiece coming to theaters near you in 2025 (if we’re all still alive by then 💀), has unleashed its first trailer upon the unsuspecting masses. Judy Hopps, the bunny with a badge (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, who probably regrets her life choices), and Nick Wilde, the sly fox with a heart of… well, something (voiced by Jason Bateman, who’s probably just in it for the paycheck 💰), are facing their BIGGEST CONFRONTATION YET: couple’s therapy. Because nothing says “riveting cinema” like watching cartoon animals hash out their emotional baggage. Chief Bogo (voiced by Idris Elba, slumming it for a quick buck 💸) forces them into this Partners in Crisis program. Oh, the DRAMA. 🙄 You can watch the trailer below if you’re into that sort of thing. ⬇️

Jared Bush, the creative genius (or so he thinks) behind this whole shebang, wants you to believe that you’ve only seen the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to the world of Zootopia. “We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to the outrageous, expansive animal metropolis of Zootopia,” he gushes. “And take audiences on a hilarious, wild ride into parts of the city we’ve never visited before!” Translation: we’re running out of ideas, so we’re just making stuff up as we go along. 🤪 He also promised that Nick and Judy would meet returning cast members and “all-new friends.” Because what’s a sequel without a bunch of new, forgettable characters? 🤷‍♀️

Get ready for the edge of your seats. Judy and Nick are gonna face challenges that will test the very fabric of their partnership when they encounter Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan). Oh yes, a VENOMOUS SNAKE. 🐍 How original. Gary’s motives are as mysterious as why Disney keeps greenlighting these sequels. It’s up to our dynamic duo and a bunch of returning characters to unravel the mystery. The cast includes literally everyone who was available and willing to sign a contract:

Idris Elba (Chief Bogo): Because even talented actors need to pay the bills. 💸
Bonnie Hunt (Bonnie Hopps): Still getting work? Good for her, I guess. 👍
Don Lake (Stu Hopps): I had to Google who that was. 🔍
Nate Torrence (Clawhauser): The only character I can relate to because he loves donuts. 🍩
Jenny Slate (Bellwether): Wait, she’s still getting roles after that whole… thing? 🤔
Alan Tudyk (Duke Weaselton): He’s in everything, isn’t he? 🎬
Maurice LaMarche (Mr. Big): Prepare for more Godfather parodies. 🙄
Leah Latham (Fru Fru): I honestly don’t remember who this is. 🤷‍♀️
Josh Dallas (Frantic Pig): Sounds about right. 🐷
Tommy Chong (Yax): Because stoners love talking animals. 🥦
Mark Rhino Smith (Officer McHorn): Okay… 🦏
Raymond Persi (Flash): Prepare for slow-motion jokes that were already old in 2016. 🐌
Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan): Okay, this is good casting. 👍
Nibbles (Fortune Feimster): Who? 🤷‍♀️
Dr. Fuzzby (Quinta Brunson): Another one? 🦧

Bush, the director/writer, is practically bursting with excitement: “I can’t wait for audiences to see what other surprises we have in store!” Translation: “We’re gonna throw in some plot twists that make absolutely no sense!” 🤪 Catch Zootopia 2 in theaters November 26, if you dare. 😈
