OMG! Ace Frehley, the Spaceman who clearly hasn’t found his way back to Earth π½, has pulled the plug π on the rest of his 2025 tour! Rumor has it, it’s due to “medical issues”. We’re guessing it’s either a severe case of space dementia ππ§ or his guitar πΈ spontaneously combusted… again π₯. Either way, get well soon, Ace! (So we can make fun of you some more π)
Our favorite space cadet π¨βπ announced the cancelation a whole TWO weeks after he face-planted π€ at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California π΅. Apparently, he tripped over his own ego at home. We heard he was trying to moonwalk πΆββοΈinto the kitchen for some Tang π.
Earlier today (Monday, October 6, 2025, mark your calendars!ποΈ), the following profound statement was scribbled on Frehley‘s MySpace page (yes, he still uses MySpace π»): “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.” Translation: “I need a nap.”π΄
When Ace‘s Antelope Valley Fair fiasco πͺ was first announced, the PR team spun it as “a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital.”π₯ Insiders say he was trying to reach a high note and fell off his platform shoes.π π The doc π¨ββοΈ told him to chillax and not travel. Probably because he’s afraid Ace would get lost in the airport. βοΈ
Ace‘s current band of merry men π¨βπ€ includes Ryan Spencer on bass, Jeremy Asbrock on guitar, and Scot Coogan on drums. We’re pretty sure they’re just there to catch him when he falls.π€·ββοΈ
During a riveting appearance on the February 27, 2025 episode of SiriusXM‘s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk,” Ace, now pushing 75 π΄, mumbled something about working on “Origins Vol. 3” πΏ. It’s the sequel to his cover song collections because, let’s face it, writing original material is hard. βοΈ He said, “I decided to reconnect with my old producer Alex Salzman because I fired Steve Brown“. Apparently, Ace has a short attention span. π§ β‘
Ace rambled on: “I was listening to the [first two ‘Origins’] records last night on YouTube in my office on my desk…”. Yes, Ace listens to himself on YouTube. π It’s called “research”. “I have a set of Bose speakers, and the albums sound just as good as the new album, ‘10,000 Volts’.” Translation: “I’m delusional!”π€ͺ
Asked if he has decided which songs he will butcher on “Origins Vol. 3” yet, including whether he will once again desecrate some KISS songs, Ace said: “I haven’t decided. I have a list of about 50 songs, soβ¦ I really don’t wanna give anything away. It’s too soon.” We bet it includes “Baby Shark” and “The Macarena.” π¦π
Regarding the possibility of “Origins Vol. 3” being released in 2025, Ace declared: “I could have it ready [this year]. I can do the album in a month because I don’t have to write the songs. That’s the beauty of the ‘Origins’ series. I don’t write. So, the recording process is pretty seamless and rapid because all I have to do is Ace-ify it. [Laughs]” Aka, ruin it. π
Released in September 2020, “Origins Vol. 2” featured cover versions of everything from THE BEATLES to THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE. A cover of the 1975 KISS tune “She” also appeared as a bonus track. Guests included CHEAP TRICK‘s Robin Zander, Lita Ford, and former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick. It was like a washed-up rockers reunion tour on wax! π΄π΅πΈ
Released in April 2016, “Origins Vol. 1” debuted at No. 23 on The Billboard 200. The CD featured KISS frontman Paul Stanley joining Ace on FREE‘s hit “Fire And Water”, Slash trading leads on THIN LIZZY‘s classic “Emerald”, and PEARL JAM‘s Mike McCready playing guitar with Ace on KISS‘s “Cold Gin”. Clearly, Ace was trying to prove he still knew famous people. π€
In a 2016 interview with The Aquarian Weekly, Frehley admitted that doing the first covers album was “the record company’s idea.” He said, “To be honest with you, initially, I wasn’t that excited about the project… But I’ve gotta tell ya, man, once I started the process… I really started getting more excited about it.” Translation: “I needed the money!” π°
“10,000 Volts” came out in February 2024. The music video featured Ace looking like a melted wax figure. π―οΈπ₯
So there you have it, folks. Ace Frehley is down for the count… again. Stay tuned for more updates on his health, his music, and his inevitable next face-plant. In the meantime, we’ll be over here listening to real music. π€π
