Okay, folks, buckle up because Hollywood is about to bless us with “Roofman,” a cinematic masterpiece – or at least that’s what they want you to think. 🙄 Starring everyone’s favorite himbo, Channing Tatum, as a former Army Ranger (because, why not?) who robs McDonald’s by, wait for it, cutting holes in the roofs! 🕳️ Yes, you read that right.
Apparently, doors and windows are too mainstream for this “struggling father.” And if that wasn’t Oscar-worthy enough, he then decides to become a resident of Toys “R” Us for six whole months! 🧸 I’m sure the hygiene alone will win awards. Oh, and because no movie is complete without a completely unnecessary love interest, Kirsten Dunst plays a divorced mom who falls for his “undeniable charm.” 💖 Because nothing says romance like breaking and entering and living amongst Geoffrey the Giraffe’s discarded dreams. This is going to be a dumpster fire 🔥, and I’m here for it. 🍿
Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.
Directed by Derek Cianfrance, because apparently he lost a bet 🤡, the film stars Channing Tatum, who probably needed a paycheck 💰, Kirsten Dunst, who clearly hasn’t read the script 📖, Ben Mendelsohn, who’s probably wondering where his career went wrong 🤔, LaKeith Stanfield, who’s too good for this mess 😫, Juno Temple, who deserves better 🌟, Melonie Diaz, who’s probably contractually obligated 🤝, Uzo Aduba, who I genuinely feel bad for 😔, Lily Collias, who’s just happy to be here 😊, Jimmy O. Yang, for comedic relief that will inevitably fall flat 😂, and Peter Dinklage, who I suspect is just trolling us all 🤣.
Roofman hits US cinemas on 10th October 2025, so mark your calendars 🗓️ and prepare for the cinematic event of the year… or at least something to laugh at with your friends. 😂 Don’t say I didn’t warn you. ⚠️
