Ryan Reynolds Announces the Apocalypse is Near Because Deadpool is Never Making Another Movie Again and We’re All Doomed to Live Without His Regenerating Degenerate Self on the Big Screen

1216 GQ FERR04 01 Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 02

We’ve seen the last of Deadpool’s solo adventures, or have we? 🤔👊 It’s not like Ryan Reynolds is tired of playing the Merc With a Mouth or anything (he’s not, he’s just being dramatic 🎭). But seriously, after two solo films and a team-up with Wolverine that grossed $1.3 billion worldwide, you’d think Marvel would be begging for more Deadpool 🤑. I mean, who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashioned Deadpool movie? 🍿🍫 But Reynolds himself seems to be over it, saying he sees Deadpool as a “supporting character” in the future 🤷‍♂️. What, is he trying to be the Marvel version of a Kardashian? “I’m a supporting character, but I’m still the star of the show” 📺💁‍♀️.

So, what’s next for Deadpool? Will he be joining the X-Force team? 🤝👊 Or will he just be a special guest star in the next Avengers movie? 🌟👽 The world may never know (or care, let’s be real 🤷‍♂️). But one thing’s for sure, Ryan Reynolds is still getting paid, and that’s all that matters 💸👍. I mean, who needs a solo movie when you can just show up in a team-up film and steal the show? 🤣👊 It’s not like Deadpool is a character who thrives on being the center of attention or anything 🙄.

And let’s be real, Marvel Comics has not always agreed with Reynolds’ comments 🤔. I mean, in the comics, Deadpool is a total lone wolf (except when he’s not, and he’s part of a team, but that’s beside the point 🙄). He’s killed the entire Marvel Universe (on multiple occasions, no less 🤯), so it’s not like he’s exactly team player material 🤷‍♂️. But hey, maybe that’s what Reynolds means by “supporting character” 🤔. Maybe he’s just saying that Deadpool should be the guy who shows up, kills everyone, and then leaves 🎭👋. That sounds like a solid plan to me 🤣.

Of course, Reynolds had a blast (pun intended 🎉) bouncing his chatty Deadpool off of Hugh Jackman’s stoic Wolverine 🤣. Maybe that’s what he’s looking to do again, just with a different team 🤝. Maybe he’ll join the X-Force team and be the comedic relief 🤣. Or maybe he’ll just show up in an Avengers movie and steal the show (again 🙄). The possibilities are endless, and by endless, I mean there are like three possible scenarios 🤷‍♂️.

But let’s get real, the only thing that matters is that Reynolds is still making bank 💸👍. Whether he’s the star of the show or just a supporting character, he’s still getting paid, and that’s all that matters 🤑. So, go ahead and speculate about the future of Deadpool all you want 🤔. But at the end of the day, it’s all just a bunch of noise 🗣️. The only thing that matters is that Ryan Reynolds is still the Merc With a Mouth, and he’s still getting paid to be his awesome self 💸👊.

And if you’re still reading this, congratulations 🎉! You’ve made it to the end of this totally-not-clickbait article 📰!
