Halo Infinite RUINED Forever as Mysterious Halo Next Thingy Probably Means We’re Getting More of the Same Old Stuff and LOL No More Firefight: Gauntlet Who Even Cared Anyway

Gauntlet Waypoint

Today is a big day at Halo Studios, folks! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘€ Halo Next has reportedly been uncovered by a new job listing, and Halo Infinite has received a massive PvE update, bringing Firefight Gauntlet to co-op. Because, you know, we didn’t have enough Halo games already ๐Ÿคฃ. I mean, who needs a social life when you can spend all day playing Halo, right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

So, there have been rumors circulating that Halo 2 and 3 were receiving the remake treatment ๐Ÿค”, and now, not only is there a new PvE Firefight Gauntlet mode in Halo Infinite, but Halo Next (the alleged next title in the Halo franchise) has apparently been revealed by a job listing ๐Ÿ“ฃ. I guess someone at Microsoft just couldn’t keep their mouth shut ๐Ÿคซ. A newly posted YouTube video from Rebs Gaming reveals details about Halo Next and how this information connects to a Microsoft job listing. The video goes on to explain other ideas, like why The Flood (a nasty Halo adversary) wonโ€™t be appearing anytime soon, but the real information comes from this job listing, for Narrative Design Director at Halo Studios ๐Ÿ“.

The job listing reads, โ€œWe are looking for a Narrative Design Director to help define and deliver the narrative experience for Halo Next. The Narrative Design Director is responsible for the narrative direction of Halo, including campaign story structure, tone, character arcs, and narrative integration across gameplay.โ€ Yeah, because that’s not a mouthful ๐Ÿคฏ. The listing also says the applicant must โ€œensure narrative and gameplay work together to deliver a cohesive and memorable campaign experience,โ€ which means Halo Next could potentially be campaign-only like Halo: Campaign Evolved, but nothing is confirmed just yet ๐Ÿค”.

On top of the new Halo Next news, Halo Infinite has seemingly dropped a new Firefight Gauntlet mode for fans, and the consensus is itโ€™s fun ๐ŸŽฎ. A new blog post from Halo Studios has defined the new game mode, which it claims to be โ€œdeviously difficultโ€. The Gauntlet brings endless waves of enemies with upgradeable attributes, elimination objectives, and auto-scaled difficulty settings to a boss-filled Firefight experience designed to challenge even the toughest Spartans ๐Ÿ’ช. I mean, who doesn’t love a good challenge, right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

While Halo Next appears to be a real thing and Firefight Gauntlet is live, it seems Halo is far from finished ๐Ÿš€. But fans should take the Halo Next news with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made by Halo Studios or Microsoft, considering itโ€™s possible the job listing could be mistaken ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. I mean, we’ve all been there, right? ๐Ÿ™„ When you think you’ve got the scoop, but it’s just a bunch of hooey ๐ŸŽ‰. Anyway, stay tuned for more Halo news, and try not to get too excited ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. Or do, I don’t really care ๐Ÿ˜œ.
