Sony Gifts Subscribers Yet Another Bloated PS Plus Lineup Surprise

It’s that time of the month again, folks, when PlayStation Plus decides to bless us with a new batch of games to justify the monthly subscription fee. And, boy, are they really spoiling us this time around. I mean, who needs human interaction when you can stay indoors and play Rise of the Ronin, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and six other titles? The perfect excuse to avoid those pesky sunburns and embarrassing social interactions. July 2026 is shaping up to be a great month for PS Plus subscribers, with nine new games added to the service across all tiers.

The New Additions

PlayStation Plus is turning up the heat, and I’m not just talking about the summer temperatures. They’re bringing the big guns, with Rise of the Ronin and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora headlining the new additions. For those who haven’t been living under a rock, Rise of the Ronin is an open-world RPG set in 19th-century Japan, where you get to experience the joys of samurai life and American influences. And, of course, who can forget Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, where you get to play as a blue-skinned Na’vi, escaping the clutches of the evil human corporation, RDA? It’s like they knew exactly what we needed – more ways to avoid reality.

What’s Coming to PS Plus

Sony has revealed the full list of games coming to the service in July, and it’s a mixed bag, to say the least. We’ve got Firefighter Simulator: Ignite, because who doesn’t want to simulate fighting fires? Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, for all you nostalgic fans out there. Dying Light, because zombies are always a good idea. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Snowbros Wonderland, and Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, because why not? And, for all you PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, you get the added bonus of Indigo Prophecy. It’s like they’re trying to make our heads spin with all these options.

The Full List

So, without further ado, here’s the full list of games coming to PS Plus in July:
– Rise of the Ronin – PS5 (available now, because you can’t wait)
– Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – PS5 (available on July 21, mark your calendars)
– Firefighter Simulator: Ignite – PS5 (available on July 21, start practicing your firefighting skills)
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind – PS5, PS4 (available on July 28 in the US and the UK, but if you’re in Japan, you’re already playing it)
– Dying Light – PS4 (available July 28 in the US and the UK, but, again, Japan gets it first)
– Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector – PS5 (available on July 28 in the US and the UK, you know the drill)
– Snowbros Wonderland – PS5 (available July 28 in the US and the UK, sensing a pattern here)
– PlayStation Plus Premium – Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy – PS5, PS4 (available globally on July 21, for all you premium folks)
– PlayStation Plus Premium – Indigo Prophecy – PS5, PS4 (available globally on July 21, because premium subscribers deserve more)

All in all, it’s a great time to be a PS Plus subscriber. So, go ahead, cancel those outdoor plans, and get ready to spend the rest of the summer indoors, playing all these amazing games. Your social life (or lack thereof) will thank you. And remember, if anyone asks, you’re not avoiding reality, you’re just “experiencing new worlds” – that’s what I keep telling myself, anyway.
