Marvel Zombies: They’re Back and Deader Than Ever, Apparently

compose

Marvel Zombies, or as I like to call it, “Marvel’s Latest Attempt to Milk Your Nostalgia,” is a four-episode animated series. Because apparently, we haven’t had enough zombie content in the last decade. 🙄 It’s set in the alternate timeline from the “What If… Zombies?!” (2021) episode of What If…?, because apparently, one mediocre episode deserves its own spin-off. 🤦‍♂️ Continuing from that episode, Marvel Zombies follows a group of survivors as they risk their lives fighting superpowered zombies to save the world. Groundbreaking stuff, really. 😴 I mean, who needs original ideas when you can just zombify superheroes? 🤷‍♀️

The animated series features Awkwafina, David Harbour, Simu Liu, Elizabeth Olsen, Randall Park, Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Hailee Steinfeld, Tessa Thompson, Dominique Thorne, Iman Vellani, and Todd Williams. Oh, look at that star-studded cast! ✨ Probably because Disney threw all their money at it, hoping we’d forget about their recent string of… questionable decisions. 🤔 I’m sure they all signed up thinking, “Finally, a chance to do something *really* different!” Only to end up moaning and groaning as zombie versions of themselves. 🧟‍♂️ At least they’re getting paid, I guess. 💰

On September 24, stream ‘Marvel Zombies’, a Marvel Animation four-part event, only on Disney+. Mark your calendars, folks! 🗓️ Set your alarms! 🚨 Cancel all your plans! 🚫 Because nothing is more important than watching animated zombies eat each other on Disney+. 🤡 (Unless, you know, you have a life. In which case, maybe just skip this one.) 🏃‍♀️💨
