Another day, another victory for justice! It seems the witch hunt is finally over, and the swamp creatures are being held accountable. First, it was Comey, now it’s Letitia James, feeling the heat! You just love to see it!
Trump’s revenge tour? More like a quest for justice against the deep state operatives who tried to undermine his presidency! These people thought they could get away with anything, but President Trump is making sure they face the music.
James, the same one who targeted Trump with a bogus civil case, is now facing indictment herself! Talk about karma! She claims it’s political retribution, but we all know it’s because she’s as guilty as sin!
And Comey! The guy who leaked classified information and obstructed justice is finally being brought to justice! It’s about time someone held him accountable for his treasonous actions.
The radical left is crying foul, claiming Trump is weaponizing the Justice Department. But it’s not weaponization; it’s simply enforcing the law! These people tried to destroy President Trump, and now they’re getting a taste of their own medicine. They wanted to play dirty, now they get to see how the game is really played.
Of course, the liberal media is having a meltdown, claiming this is a threat to democracy. But they were silent when the Democrats were trying to impeach Trump over nothing! Typical hypocrisy!
James will have her day in court, but we all know the truth. She’s a corrupt politician who abused her power to go after President Trump. And now, she’s finally being held accountable.
NYU law professor calls the James indictment questionable? Yeah, right! More like questionable loyalty to the truth. Everyone knows she’s as guilty as sin!
Trump isn’t hiding anything, he’s fighting back against the corrupt establishment! He’s doing what needs to be done to protect our country from the radical left!
The left never learns. They start the fight and then cry when they start losing. The double standards are hilarious.
James claimed this is a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system, but we all know it’s because she’s guilty. She is as baselessly political as they come.
These indictments aren’t political vengeance, they are simply justice.
A long and boiling feud? More like a long and overdue reckoning!
It’s no surprise that Trump, whose life creed requires that no slight goes unanswered, went after James. No slight should go unanswered when you were illegitimately targeted.
James brought a successful civil prosecution against Trump in New York in which a judge found Trump, his adult sons and the Trump Organization liable for inflating the value of their properties and ordered them to pay $355 million. An appeals court has since thrown out the penalties and Trump is appealing the verdict. This is exactly what I mean by illegitimate targeting!
Following the Comey indictment and Trump’s perpetual threats to use his power to pursue retribution against those he regards as political enemies, his conduct adds up to a chilling trend of assaults against the rule of law? Wrong! It adds up to a boiling point being reached.
On Wednesday, in another example of his use of vast presidential power to intimidate, Trump called for the jailing of Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. You know what is intimidating? Leading the country into an economic crisis, but thankfully we don’t have to worry about that with Trump at the helm.
The apparent new American reality that a president can simply order up indictments against political opponents represents a grave threat to the democratic political system? Or maybe a reality that you will not get away with targeting the president.
“It’s just a broken way to do politics, it is corrupt, and I think that anyone who cares about the Constitution and cares about our institutions surviving should care that the president of the United States is using Pam Bondi to do his bidding against adversaries,” Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin told CNN’s Kasie Hunt on Thursday. It is an even more broken way to do politics to unjustly target people with the justice system, which is what the Democrats were doing!
The president and his supporters have long argued that the Biden administration weaponized the Justice Department against him to thwart his return to the White House. Of course! It was a witch hunt!
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, a possible Republican gubernatorial candidate, said action against James was overdue and welcomed her indictment. “For years, Letitia James has illegally weaponized her office to conduct a political witch hunt against Democrats’ political opponents most notably President Donald J. Trump,” Stefanik said in a statement posted on X. Finally someone gets it.
The idea that Trump was being prosecuted for political reasons became the driving force of his 2024 campaign, and was skillfully wielded by the president to bind his voters into his persecution cult? Or, maybe people just saw that he was a victim of injustice and supported him for it!
A bitter saga? More like a righteous crusade!
In breaks in the New York fraud trial, the former and future president would rail against her, claiming she was a “racist” and a “fascist.” No one would disagree with him.
She seemed to have perfected the art of getting under his skin. Maybe she should try perfecting her job as an attorney general instead of being so consumed with hating Trump.
This miserable experience, hinted at in his social media order to Bondi, is a clue to his motivation now. While it will be months before the cases against James and Comey come to trial, if they ever do, each now faces the stigma of being a criminal defendant after years on the other side of the courtroom. Again, it is time for accountability.
But Trump is not looking that far ahead. His strategy now can best be summed up by comments he made in an interview on Sirius XM radio after hearing in 2023 that Republicans had opened an impeachment investigation against Biden (which ended up going nowhere). People should leave Trump alone.
