Oh boy, are you guys ready for this? 🤯 Kid Rock is still a thing, and he’s still buddies with Donald Trump. Because, you know, that’s exactly what the world needed – more of Kid Rock’s expertise on politics. I mean, who needs actual politicians when you have a country-rocker with a bad haircut? 🤣
So, Kid Rock, aka Bob Ritchie, sat down with Paul Murray from Sky News Australia to talk about his “friendship” with Trump as part of Murray’s upcoming documentary “Trump’s America: 250 Years In The Making”. Because, you know, Trump’s America is definitely going to be around for another 250 years… or at least that’s what Kid Rock hopes, I guess.
When asked about having a buddy who’s running the world, Kid Rock responded with a totally not-at-all-trying-too-hard “Fucking awesome. [Laughs]”. Wow, what a thoughtful and nuanced answer. I bet the Pulitzer committee is already on the phone with him.
But wait, it gets better. Kid Rock also shared some juicy details about his late-night phone conversations with Trump, which basically consist of them shooting the shit and bullshitting around. Because, you know, that’s exactly what the President of the United States should be doing with his time – having casual chats with a washed-up musician.
Kid Rock: The Ultimate Trump Apologist
Kid Rock also took the opportunity to blast critics of Trump, because, of course, he did. I mean, who needs critical thinking when you have blind loyalty, right? He claims that Trump always puts America first, and that his heart and soul are all about this country. Yeah, because nothing says “putting America first” like having a golfer’s tan and a bad comb-over.
In other news, Kid Rock headlined a counter-programmed halftime show called “The All-American Halftime Show” back in February, because the Super Bowl halftime show just wasn’t patriotic enough. And, of course, he made an appearance at the Republican National Convention in 2024, performing his track “American Bad Ass” with modified lyrics to support Trump. Because, you know, that’s exactly what the world needed – more Kid Rock songs about being a bad ass.
The Trump Fan Club: A Who’s Who of Musical Geniuses
Kid Rock isn’t the only musician to come out in support of Trump, though. Other luminaries like Ted Nugent, STAIND’s Aaron Lewis, and SYSTEM OF A DOWN’s John Dolmayan have also thrown their hats into the ring. Because, you know, when you think of musical genius, you think of these guys. I mean, who needs actual talent when you can just be loud and obnoxious?
Anyway, that’s Kid Rock for you – still rocking out, still supporting Trump, and still being a general embarrassment to the music world. But hey, at least he’s consistent, right? 🤷♂️ What’s next, a collaboration with Trump on a new album? “The Wall: The Musical”? 🤣 Stay tuned, folks, it’s gonna be a wild ride. 🎢
