Oh boy, are you guys ready for some juicy gossip and drama from the metal music scene? 🤘🎸 Because I’ve got the tea, and it’s hotter than a freshly brewed cup of coffee ☕️. In a recent interview with The Garza Podcast, hosted by the one and only Chris Garza, the former drummer-turned-lead-singer of ATREYU, Brandon Saller, spilled all the beans about the band’s lineup change and his journey to becoming the frontman 🎤. And let me tell you, it’s a wild ride full of twists and turns 🎢.

So, Brandon shared that the hardest part of transitioning from playing drums to being the lead singer was adapting to the new role and getting used to the energy of the other band members on stage 🤩. But, he also mentioned that he had some great experience being the frontman of his other band, HELL OR HIGHWATER, and touring with big names like STONE SOUR, THE DARKNESS, and AVENGED SEVENFOLD 🤘. He even got to learn from some of the best frontmen in the business, which is pretty cool, if you ask me 🤓.

Brandon also talked about how he’s always been a bit of a wild child, even as a drummer, and that he loves being more interactive with the crowd and feeling their energy 🎸. And, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good showman? 🎭 He even compared himself to Lars Ulrich from METALLICA, which is a pretty big deal, if you know what I mean 🤯.

But, of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and Brandon knew he had to bring his A-game to prove himself as the new frontman 🎯. He wanted to make sure that people wouldn’t have any reason to talk shit about him, which is pretty understandable, given the haters out there 🙄. And, spoiler alert, he’s been doing a pretty great job, if you ask me 🤩.

Now, I know what you’re thinking… what about the drama with the former lead singer, Alex? 🤔 Well, let’s just say that Brandon didn’t hold back when talking about their past and the negative feedback the band received after Alex left 🚫. He even shared some funny stories about how he responds to trolls online, which is basically the best thing ever 🤣.

And, as for whether Brandon and the other band members still talk to Alex, the answer is a big fat no 🚫. But, Brandon did say that he wishes Alex all the best and that he’s even bought a shirt from Alex’s new band, DEAD ICARUS 🎸. Which, let’s be real, is a pretty cool thing to do 🤘.

So, there you have it, folks… all the juicy gossip and drama from the metal music scene 🤘. And, if you’re ready for some new music, ATREYU’s new studio album, “The End Is Not The End”, is coming out on April 24 via Spinefarm 🎉. Get ready to rock out and enjoy the show 🎸! 🤘🎸🔥💥🎶
