The Northern California extreme metallers are embarking on a “The Price Of Existence 20 Year Anniversary” tour, because who doesn’t love a good nostalgia trip? 🎉 The tour will kick off on September 4 in Fresno, California, and conclude on October 3 in San Jose, California, giving fans a chance to relive the magic of their second album, “The Price Of Existence”, which was released in 2006 via Nuclear Blast 📀. This album was the band’s first to feature vocalist Hernan “Eddie” Hermida and lead guitarist Chris Storey, and it’s still a fan favorite to this day 🤩.
The band says: “After 20 years, we are playing the ENTIRE record for you on a full US tour! Many of these songs we NEVER played live back in the day 🙅♂️. 2006 was a crazy time for heavy music, SO many sick artists dropping fire and birthing a sub-genre 🤯. We are proud to have been a part of that moment in history, come re-live this album with us and celebrate 20…TWENTY!?! damn years of ‘The Price Of Existence’ 🎉.” They also announced that they will reveal the support bands on June 1st, so stay tuned for that 📆.

When ALL SHALL PERISH’s comeback was first announced back in February 2024, the band said in a statement: “Deathcore LIVES 💀. We are so back 🙌. The cyclical nature of things has come to pass over even The Deathcore 🌀. Perhaps the genre never died but zombified? 🧠” They also thanked all the bands, old and new, who kept the torch burning for the genre, and thanked their fans for their support 🙏.
The band’s current touring lineup consists of singer Hernan “Eddie” Hermida, guitarists Chris Storey and Ben Orum, bassist Adrian Oropeza, and drummer Andrew Baird 🤘. Back in October 2013, then-ALL SHALL PERISH bassist Mike Tiner told Metal Injection that the band had no choice but to fire Hermida after he joined SUICIDE SILENCE as the replacement for the late Mitch Lucker 🤦♂️. Tiner said that Hermida wanted to join SUICIDE SILENCE and make it his priority, and that the band couldn’t work with him under those conditions 🙅♂️.
Hermida spoke to Metal Injection about his decision to join SUICIDE SILENCE, saying that he was approached by the band’s manager and asked to record a track with them 🎤. He said that he was honored to be asked to help the band and that he did everything in his power to stay in ALL SHALL PERISH and work on both projects 🤝. However, he ultimately decided to join SUICIDE SILENCE full-time and depart from ALL SHALL PERISH 🚫.
In October 2015, ALL SHALL PERISH announced the return of Hermida and Storey, alongside founding members Matthew Kuykendall, Caysen Russo, and Orum 🎉. The band stated that original vocalist Craig Betit would participate in some fashion as well, and that Tiner declined a personal invitation to participate 🙅♂️. So, are you ready to perish with ALL SHALL PERISH? 🤘 Get your tickets now and let’s get ready to rock 🎟️! 🤘💀🔥
