The most unlikely movie project is actually happening, and we’re all just going to have to deal with it 🤯. The sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Brad Pitt as stuntman Cliff Booth, written by Quentin Tarantino, and directed by David Fincher, is coming to IMAX screens near you 🎥. Because, you know, the world was just missing a movie about a stuntman who’s also a Vietnam War veteran and a general tough guy 🤷♂️. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch a whole movie about Cliff Booth’s adventures? 🤔 It’s not like we have better things to watch, like paint drying or grass growing 🌿.
The movie, which may or may not be called The Adventures of Cliff Booth (but let’s be real, it’s probably going to be something like that 🙄), started out as one of Tarantino’s potential projects, but he decided he didn’t want to direct it 🤷♂️. Because, you know, he’s a perfectionist and only wants to make movies that are totally flawless and not at all self-indulgent 🙃. So, he handed it over to David Fincher, who’s previously worked with Pitt on Seven, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 🎬. Yeah, because those movies weren’t dark and depressing enough, let’s make another one 🌑.
But wait, it gets better! 🤔 The movie takes place in 1977, and it’s going to be all about Cliff Booth navigating the changing landscape of Hollywood 🌴. Because, you know, the 1970s were just so fascinating and not at all a cliché setting for a movie 🙄. And, of course, it’s going to star a whole bunch of other actors, including Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II 🤩. It’s like a who’s who of actors who are just happy to be working with Tarantino and Fincher 🙏.
The official synopsis for the movie is just as exciting as you’d expect 🤯: “Brad Pitt returns to his Academy Award-winning role as Cliff Booth, only this time it’s 1977 and it’s a very different Hollywood” 🌆. Wow, I bet you can’t wait to see how Cliff Booth deals with the challenges of the 1970s 🤔. Will he wear bell-bottom jeans and listen to disco music? 🕺 Will he get caught up in the thriving film industry of the time and make some new friends? 🎬 The possibilities are endless, folks! 🤩
And, because Netflix loves us so much, they’re premiering the movie in IMAX theaters for a whole two weeks 🎥. Because, you know, we all need to experience the glory of Cliff Booth on the big screen 🌟. And then, after that, it’ll be available to stream on Netflix, just in time for my birthday 🎂. Thanks, Netflix! You’re the best 🎁. I was really hoping for a movie about a stuntman who’s also a Vietnam War veteran, and you delivered 🙏. You’re the real MVP 🏆.
But, let’s be real, the only reason anyone is going to watch this movie is because of the hype surrounding it 🤔. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch a movie written by Tarantino and directed by Fincher? 🤷♂️ It’s like a match made in heaven (or hell, depending on how you feel about their movies 🌪️). And, of course, Brad Pitt is in it, so that’s a bonus 🎁. He’s just so dreamy and talented, and we all love him 🙏.
So, get ready for the movie event of the year, folks! 🎉 The Adventures of Cliff Booth (or whatever it’s called) is coming to a theater near you 🎥. Don’t forget to bring your sense of humor and your ability to suspend disbelief 🤣. And, if you’re lucky, you might even get to see some of the movie’s stars walking the red carpet 🏆. It’s going to be a wild ride, folks! 🎢
And, as a special treat, here are some other movies with ambiguous endings that we’re still arguing about 🤔. Because, you know, we all love a good mystery 🧐. From The Shawshank Redemption to The Matrix, we’re still trying to figure out what really happened 🤷♂️. So, if you’re feeling confused and frustrated, just remember that you’re not alone 🤗. We’re all in this together, folks! 🤝
Anyway, back to The Adventures of Cliff Booth 🎥. I’m sure it’s going to be a thrilling ride, full of action, adventure, and drama 🎬. And, who knows, maybe it’ll even be good 🤔. But, let’s be real, it’s probably going to be a self-indulgent mess, just like all of Tarantino’s other movies 🙄. So, if you’re a fan of his work, you’ll probably love it 🙏. But, if you’re not, well, there’s always Netflix’s other original content to watch 📺. Happy birthday to me, indeed! 🎂
