Behind the Scenes
The band worked with artist Mark Stritzel to create the striking album cover, which features a bunch of weird and wonderful characters. And let me tell you, these characters have some serious backstories! 📚 Apparently, the magician on the cover was initially meant to be a younger version of the Preacher from their 1987 album “Among The Living”. And the bride and dog? Well, they’re just a couple of messed-up characters who are part of the album’s twisted narrative. 🤪
But enough about the album cover. Let’s talk about the music! 🎸 The band has been rolling out these animated short clips based on the album cover, and they’re pretty cool. The first clip was shared on July 28, and every Tuesday, they’ll be unveiling the individual stories of each character featured on the album.
