PRONG has been around for nearly four decades, and they’ve been gigging non-stop, playing all the major festivals like Wacken Open Air, Alcatraz, and Brutal Assault. They’ve also released a bunch of classic albums that have dominated TV, radio, and streaming throughout their tenure. And, let’s not forget their iconic status as one of the few bands to emerge from the legendary CBGBs scene in the late 1980s. They’ve shared the stage with hardcore legends like GORILLA BISCUITS, MADBALL, SICK OF IT ALL, and BIOHAZARD, and they’ve always managed to stand out with their unique blend of melodic sensibility and boundary-pushing fusion of classic New York hardcore, infectious grooves, and industrial textures.
