๐จ BREAKING: LORNA SHORE HAS OFFICIALLY INVADED YOUR PLAYLIST AND YOUR THERAPIST’S OFFICE ๐จ
Remember when music was just catchy little tunes you hummed in the shower? Yeah, that adorable era is dead and buried. LORNA SHORE has officially reclaimed the title of “Most Likely to Make Your Neighbors Call the Cops” after absolutely nuking the charts in 2025 with their fifth album, “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me”. ๐ค
This sonic assault wasn’t just an album; it was a spiritual experience (specifically, the kind of spiritual experience that involves a lot of screaming and questioning your life choices). Critics at Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, and Loudwire basically lost their minds, unanimously agreeing that yes, this is the best thing to happen to metal since someone realized you could tune a guitar lower than the Mariana Trench. ๐
But apparently, suffering through 2025 wasn’t enough for us. LORNA SHORE is back for round two in 2026 because they simply hate silence. They are kicking off a massive global tour that starts on January 23 in Germany (because of course it does, Germany loves this stuff) before crossing the ocean to traumatize North America starting April 17. ๐ฉ๐ชโ๏ธ๐บ๐ธ
Joining this chaos caravan are PALEFACE SWISS and SIGNS OF THE SWARM. If youโre a fan of having your eardrums gently massaged by a jackhammer, this is the lineup for you. They are hitting up cities from Buffalo, NY all the way to Montclair, NJ, with stops at massive festivals like Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival. ๐ดโโ ๏ธ
๐ซ TICKET SALES & THE GREAT PANIC:
Do you like pain? Do you like spending money? Excellent. Tickets go live starting Tuesday, January 20 at 9 a.m. ET for the artist presale. If you miss that, other presales will haunt you throughout the week until the general onsale begins Friday, January 23 at 9 a.m. local time. Head to LiveNation.com or lornashoreband.com to secure your spot in the mosh pit. ๐ธ๐
๐ฅ NEW MUSIC VIDEO: “IN DARKNESS”
Because one song wasn’t enough to traumatize your Spotify algorithm, the band dropped a new single and video for “In Darkness”. Directed by David Brodsky for My Good Eye, the video is probably less “light pop” and more “fever dream in a haunted cathedral.”
Frontman Will Ramos (a man whose vocal cords are clearly made of titanium and pure spite) had this to say about the track:
“‘In Darkness’ is about growing up feeling distant from everyone, a song about anxiety and being an outcast.” ๐ฅ
He adds that itโs about embracing that “ostracized feeling” and realizing that in the darkness, we have grown. So, basically, itโs the official anthem for anyone who spent their teenage years wearing black eyeliner and sitting in the back of the class. (No judgment here. We were all there.)
๐ฟ THE ALBUM: “I FEEL THE EVERBLACK FESTERING WITHIN ME”
Released via Century Media Records, this is LORNA SHORE‘s first album in three years since 2022’s “Pain Remains”. It proves that the band hasn’t lost their edge; if anything, theyโve sharpened it and used it to carve their names into the history of extreme metal.
The bandโconsisting of Adam De Micco, Austin Archey, Andrew O’Connor, Michael Yager, and Will Ramosโhas achieved legendary status. Theyโve hit viral Spotify charts (probably ruining your “Discover Weekly” in the process), racked up millions of streams, and toured relentlessly. They are the musical equivalent of a steamroller that has absolutely no intention of stopping. ๐๐จ
Theyโve essentially torched the metal rulebook and used the ashes to start a bonfire. If you thought metal was dead, LORNA SHORE is here to politely (and loudly) disagree. ๐ฅ
๐ The album is available now in digital, CD, and limited-edition vinyl formats. Go buy it and scare your parents.
