I mean, who doesn’t love a good vigilante story, right? 🤔 The first trailer for A Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill has dropped, and it’s got all the usual stuff: guns, violence, and Jon Bernthal’s tortured face 🤕. Because, you know, that’s what passes for “acting” these days 🙄.
So, Frank is back, and he’s still got his trusty skull logo 🎭. Because, you know, that’s not a cliché at all 🙄. He’s searching for meaning beyond revenge, which is code for “he’s going to kill a lot of people and look cool doing it” 😎. And, of course, there’s an unexpected force that pulls him back into the fight, because that’s not a tired plot device at all 🙃.
The special is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who clearly has a passion for violence and explosions 🎥. And the script is co-written by Jon Bernthal, because who better to write about a character than the person playing him? 🤷♂️ It’s not like he’s biased or anything 🙄. Marvel Television also released a first look at the special’s key art, which shows Frank back in action, looking all broody and stuff 🤔.
The Punisher: One Last Kill debuts on May 12 at 6 p.m. PT, exclusively on Disney+, because who needs a movie theater when you can watch it on your phone? 📱. And, of course, it’s got all the usual Marvel hype surrounding it, with fans eagerly anticipating the latest installment of the Punisher franchise 🤩. Because, you know, this is the most exciting thing to happen to television since the last Marvel show 🙄.
