Oh boy, are you guys ready for some epic news? 🤩 Former SKID ROW singer Erik Grönwall, the man who’s been through hell and back (literally 🤣), is about to release his most personal album yet, “Bad Bones”! 💀🔥 But before we get to that, let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we? 🚶♂️👀
So, you might recall that Erik was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March 2021 🤕, and he had to leave SKID ROW because, you know, cancer doesn’t care about your rockstar schedule 🤷♂️. But don’t worry, he’s all good now, and he’s been working on his solo album with his producer and former H.E.A.T. bandmate Jona Tee 🤝. And, let me tell you, it’s going to be a wild ride 🎢!
Erik’s first fully original solo LP, “Bad Bones”, will arrive on May 22 📆, and it’s all about survival and rediscovering the love for music and songwriting 🎶. He’s had quite the journey, from being the lead singer of SKID ROW to touring with Michael Schenker and even performing in a musical 🎭 (yes, you read that right, a musical 🎵). And, of course, who can forget his time in H.E.A.T. 🤘?
Now, you might be wondering what inspired Erik to create his own Bushido 🤔, a code of honor that he lives by 🙏. Well, it all started when he was in the hospital, feeling like crap, and he realized that life is short ⏰, and we should all just chill and enjoy the ride 🌴. So, he created his own set of rules, with “health first” being the top priority 🏥.
As for SKID ROW, well, they’re doing just fine without him 🙅♂️. Lzzy Hale from HALESTORM even filled in for a few concerts 🎤, and they’re still rocking on 🤟. But Erik’s got his own thing going on now, and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us 🤔.
The English version of Erik’s autobiography, “Power – Music, Death, Life”, was released in December 2024 📚, and it’s all about his crazy journey 🌪️. And, fun fact, he was a member of H.E.A.T for nearly a decade before leaving in October 2020 🤯. He’s also sang on a bunch of albums, including Michael Schenker’s “My Years With UFO” and “Don’t Sell Your Soul” 🎸.
So, there you have it, folks 🎉! Erik Grönwall’s back, and he’s better than ever 🤩. Make sure to check out his new album “Bad Bones” on May 22, and get ready to rock 🤘! 🎸🔥 And, who knows, maybe he’ll even go on tour and come to your city 🗺️. But don’t hold your breath, he’s got to take care of his health first 🏥, remember? 😉
Anyway, that’s all for now, folks 🎉! Keep on rocking, and don’t forget to follow Erik Grönwall on social media 📱 to stay up-to-date on all his latest shenanigans 🤣. And, of course, go listen to some SKID ROW and H.E.A.T. to get you pumped up for Erik’s new album 🤟! 🎸🔥
