The Crew Motorfest, their racing title that’s been around for a few years now, just got a roadmap for its third year, and it’s packed with content that fans can look forward to. But let’s be real, we all know that “packed with content” is just code for “we’re going to nickel and dime you with DLCs and microtransactions until you’re begging for mercy”.
The Roadmap: A Glimpse into the Future
The Crew Motorfest’s roadmap is filled with exciting updates, including new seasons, cars, modes, and features. But what really caught my attention was the collaboration with Tomb Raider. Because, you know, what’s a racing game without a little bit of tomb raiding, right? The expansion, titled Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau, is set to launch during Season 11 and will have players exploring the mysterious island of Ni’ihau, discovering tombs, seeking mythical artifacts, and surviving against dinosaurs. Because, you know, that’s exactly what I want to do in a racing game – fight dinosaurs.
The Crew Motorfest itself has been around since April 2024, and it’s been a wild ride. The game invites players to the island of O’ahu, Hawaii, where they can collect over 800 cars, customize them, and participate in various events. And by “various events”, I mean the usual racing stuff, plus some demolition derby and a mode where you can climb leaderboards by completing challenges. You know, the usual.
Season 11 and Beyond
Season 11 is set to arrive in October 2026, and it’s all about exploring the island of Kauai. Players will get to discover new wildlife, including geese and whales, and even get to use a wench to climb, build, and reach blocked areas. Because, you know, that’s not something you can do in every other open-world game. The season will also introduce new cars, including the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, an off-road supercar that’s perfect for exploring Kauai’s dirt roads.
But wait, there’s more! Season 12 will focus on vehicles from Asia, featuring the Honda Prelude, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and BYD Yangwang U9 Xtreme. And Season 13 will be all about service vehicles, including taxis, limos, and semi-trucks. Because, you know, who doesn’t want to drive a taxi in a racing game?
Trackforge and Quality of Life Features
The Trackforge feature, which was introduced in Season 9, is getting some new updates, including an Off-Road kit, a Street and Togue kit, and PVP mode. Players will also get to test-drive beta vehicles for a small fee of $7 USD or one Crew credit. Because, you know, who doesn’t want to pay to test-drive a car in a game?
The Crew Motorfest is available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. And, of course, it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, 2026, because why not? Players who tune in to the livestream will even get a free Ford Bronco, so that’s a thing.
