OMG, you guys, BLACK VEIL BRIDES is finally going to release new music soon! 🤩 I mean, it’s not like we’ve been waiting for, oh, five years or anything 🙄. But seriously, vocalist Andy Biersack confirmed to Rock Sound‘s James Wilson-Taylor at the Louder Than Life festival that they’ve got some new material recorded and are already 75% done with writing the next record. I guess that means we can expect another masterpiece from these gothic rock legends 🎸.
So, what happened? Well, apparently, Andy was working on a concept record that just didn’t feel right, and he didn’t want to release something that wasn’t up to their standards. I mean, who can blame him, right? 🤷♂️ It’s not like they’re just going to phone it in and release some mediocre album just to appease their fans. Although, let’s be real, their fans would probably still eat it up like the good little BLACK VEIL BRIDES stans they are 🙃.
Anyway, Andy told PopHorror that it took them a couple of years to figure out what they wanted to do, and by 2023, they were finally writing in earnest. And then, of course, they spent all of 2025 tracking the record. I guess that’s what happens when you’re trying to create something truly special 🎶.
New Music On The Horizon
But enough about the past, let’s talk about the future. With BLACK VEIL BRIDES being 75% done with the next record, we can expect some new music soon. And, honestly, I’m pretty excited about it 🤩. I mean, their last album, “Vindicate”, was pretty well-received by fans and critics alike. Kerrang! said they’ve never sounded better, and Blabbermouth called it an exciting listen. So, yeah, the bar is set pretty high for this next album 📈.
And, let’s not forget, BLACK VEIL BRIDES is more than just a band – it’s a postmodern heavy metal institution 🤯. With a foundation in hard rock tradition and a penchant for rule-breaking iconoclasm, they’re a transcendent celebration of life-affirming power and anthemic catharsis. Or, you know, they’re just a bunch of guys who like to wear black and scream a lot 🤣.
The Band’s Lineup
In addition to Andy Biersack and Jake Pitts, the band includes guitarist Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma. I guess that’s a pretty solid lineup, right? 🤔 I mean, they’ve been making music together for years, and it shows. They’re like a well-oiled machine, except instead of oil, they’re fueled by black coffee and a desire to create something truly special ☕️.
So, there you have it, folks. BLACK VEIL BRIDES is back, and they’re better than ever. Or, at the very least, they’re not worse than ever 🤷♂️. With new music on the horizon, we can expect great things from these gothic rock legends. And, honestly, I’m pretty excited to see what they have in store for us 🤩.
