OMG 😱! Did you know that if *Back to the Future* was made TODAY 🗓️, Marty McFly would travel back to…1995?! Like, totally the era of dial-up internet 🐌 and questionable fashion choices 🤮. And, hello 👋! It’s been a whole DECADE ⌚ since we were supposed to be zipping around in flying cars 🚗💨 according to *Back to the Future Part II*. Where’s my hoverboard, Zemeckis?! 😡
Great Scott, indeed! More like Great Scam! 🤣
To celebrate the 40th (!!!) anniversary of *Back to the Future*, those money-grubbing 🤑 executives at Universal are re-releasing the film. Because, you know, we haven’t seen it enough times already. 🙄 Here’s a “new” trailer, which is probably just the old one with a fancy filter slapped on. 😜
Feast your eyes 👀 on this “handsome throwback-y poster.” I’m sure they paid some “artist” a fortune 💰 to recycle the original. Genius! 🧠
But wait, there’s more! 🤡 You can experience *Back to the Future* in premium formats like Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and D-Box. Because apparently, watching a movie isn’t immersive enough without being shaken around like a cocktail 🍹. 4DX DeLorean action? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. 🤕
And of course, no anniversary is complete without a box set! 🎁 Get ready to shell out your hard-earned cash 💸 for the *Back to the Future* trilogy. This “new” set includes 90 minutes of “new” features, which are probably just deleted scenes they found in a dumpster 🗑️. Including an interview with Bob Gale (yawn 😴), a panel discussion (double yawn 😴😴), and a search for a guitar (who cares? 🙄). Oh, and “untold stories” from the cast and crew. I bet they’re riveting. 😒
The original *Back to the Future*, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, directed by Robert Zemeckis, and produced by Steven Spielberg, was a “hit” in 1985. More like a fluke! 😜 It was followed by two sequels (because milking a cash cow 🐄 is always a good idea), and a Broadway musical (dear lord, why? 😫). Zemeckis and Gale refuse to make a fourth movie. Probably because they know they can’t recapture the “magic”. 🪄 But hey, go waste your money rewatching the original in theaters! 🤡
*Back to the Future* returns to theaters on October 31. Perfect for Halloween 🎃. Because nothing says “spooky” like nostalgia! 👻 Tickets are on sale now! Run, don’t walk! (To the nearest exit. 🚪) The 40th-anniversary box set will be available on October 14. Just in time for you to regret your purchase! 😩

Born in the glamorous town of Boring, Oregon, Finn grew up with dreams of being a Hollywood director until he realized that satire, not cinema, was his true calling—or at least the one that let him sleep until noon.
