SGF 2026: Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Preview—Because You Clearly Didn't Spend Enough Time Playing with Toy Cars as a Kid and Now You Get to Do It Virtually and Smash Stuff

Oh boy, are you guys in for a treat! 🎉 My first official Summer Game Fest hands-on appointment was with the ridiculously amazing Hot Wheels Infinite Rush. I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend their time ripping around Milestone’s new open-world racing game? 🤯 It’s like they knew I was coming and decided to unlock all the cars, because, why not? 🤷‍♂️ I got to choose from 150 vehicles, and let me tell you, I felt like a kid in a candy store… or a hot wheels store, lol. 🎂

So, I jumped into the game and explored two of the four islands, and I’m not gonna lie, it was a real blast 🎉. One island was all city-themed, and the other was like a desert factory thingy… yeah, I know, real descriptive, right? 🤣. The team at Milestone must have felt sorry for me, because they gave me all the cars, and I got to try out the different play styles: drifter, speeder, versatile, and titan. Let’s just say I won’t be giving up my day job to become a pro gamer anytime soon 🤦‍♂️. I mean, I swapped to a speeder, and, well… let’s just say I lost control, and I’m pretty sure the devs were laughing at me 🤣.

I got to explore the open world, and oh man, it’s like a dream come true 🌟. I smashed into everything, because, why not? 🤷‍♂️ It’s not like I’m going to get in trouble or anything 🚨. The Hot Wheels cars feel amazing to drive, and the attention to detail on the islands is insane 🤯. I felt like I was actually there, you know, if I didn’t suck at driving 🤣. The game has so much to offer, from racing to customization, and even a track builder 🎮. I mean, what more could you want? 🤔

The maps are filled with all sorts of fun stuff to do, like challenging other cars to races, stunt challenges, and treasure hunts 🏵️‍♀️. And, of course, there are the massive creatures that interact with the environment, like a giant gorilla, because, why not? 🐒 It’s like they took all the best parts of other games and mashed them together into this amazing experience 🤩. Each map has its own unique features, and I’m not even kidding, it’s like a whole new game every time you play 🎮.

And, let’s not forget about the cross-play and four-player split-screen co-op 🎉. I mean, who doesn’t love playing games with their friends and family? 🤗 It’s the perfect game for kids and adults alike, because, let’s be real, who doesn’t love Hot Wheels? 🚗 The game releases on September 24, 2026, on pretty much every platform imaginable, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, and PC via Steam, Microsoft, and Epic Games Store 📆. And, if you’re feeling extra hype, you can even get Early Access on September 21 🎉.

All in all, my experience with Hot Wheels Infinite Rush was an absolute blast 🎊. I mean, what’s not to love? 🤔 It’s fun, it’s whimsical, and it’s just plain exciting 🎉. So, if you’re looking for a game to play with your family or friends, look no further than Hot Wheels Infinite Rush 🎮. Trust me, you won’t regret it 😏. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go practice my driving skills, or lack thereof 🚗😂.
