Zoltan also mentioned that the title is not a sign of them retiring, but rather a “marker” of how far they’ve come. So, don’t worry, they’re not going anywhere anytime soon… unfortunately 🤦♂️.
The Fanbase: A Tribe of Die-Hards
Zoltan also talked about the band’s relationship with their fans, which he describes as a “tribe” and a “family”. Apparently, some fans have been with them since the first album, and it’s become a multi-generational thing. Because what’s more fun than listening to the same band with your kids and grandkids? 🤪. Zoltan said, “We have a different fanbase than most bands. This fanbase is a tribe. It’s a family. Some of them are with us literally from the first album.” Aww, that’s so sweet… I think I’m going to throw up 🤮.
The band has also been performing some new songs from the “Legacy” album, including the title track, “Eye Of The Storm”, and “De Oppresso Liber”. Because, you know, they need to make sure they’re still relevant and not just a nostalgia act 🎸. Revolver hailed “Eye Of The Storm” as “huge”, praising its mix of metal chugs and melody. Yeah, because that’s not something they’ve done before… 🙄. Loudwire raved about the song, saying it’s a “driving, furious banger”. Okay, sure, I’ll take their word for it 🤔.
The 20th-Anniversary Tour: Because They Need to Keep Touring to Pay Off Their Private Jet
Five Finger Death Punch has just embarked on their 20th-anniversary world tour, which will take them all across North America and Europe. Because, you know, they need to keep touring to pay off their private jet and mansion 🚀. The tour will feature special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire, and later on, Lamb of God and Bleed From Within. Because who doesn’t love a good-times, party-anthem-filled tour? 🎉. Zoltan said, “The 20th-anniversary world tour is both a celebration and a statement, honoring Five Finger Death Punch’s journey from their 2005 formation and release of their debut album, ‘The Way Of The Fist’, in 2007 to global arena headliners.” Wow, what a humble guy 🙏.
In addition to celebrating two decades of music, the band is also using their platform to give back. Because, you know, they’re not just a bunch of self-centered, egotistical rockstars 🙄. They’re supporting Team USA and aligning with the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028. A portion of the ticket sales from the 2026 North American tour will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Wow, what a noble cause 🏅. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that they want to sell more tickets and look good in the process 🤑.
