Pokémon Presents July 2025: Prepare to be Mildly Titillated by Mediocrity & Mega Dragonite’s Disappointing Debut!

Pokemon Legends Z A Key Visual

Okay, so the Pokémon Company, bless their cotton socks, decided to grace us with a Summer Pokémon Presents July 2025, because apparently February wasn’t enough torture for one year. Buckle up, buttercups, because this is gonna be a wild ride 🤪.

While it wasn’t even Pokémon Day (who even remembers that anymore?), the Pokémon Company pathetically tried to distract us from the fact that they’re probably running out of ideas 💡. They usually dump these showcases on February 27, because that’s when Pokémon Red and Green dared to exist in Japan way back in 1996. But hey, who needs tradition when you can just randomly drop announcements in July? They already milked February dry, apparently.

So, Pokémon Day came and went (along with a Presents showcase, how original 🙄), and instead of giving us a break, they shoved the Pokémon Legends: Z-A release date in a random announcement. But that was just the appetizer. Today, we got the full course meal of mediocrity. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the dumpster fire that is the Pokémon Presents July 2025 showcase 🔥.

Pokémon Presents July 2025 Announcements

Pokémon World Championships 2025

Oh boy, the Pokémon World Championships 2025 are coming! 🎉 Get ready to watch a bunch of tryhards battle it out for the ultimate title of “Pokémon Master” (as if that even means anything anymore). The dates have been revealed, along with the promo card guests will get for attending. Each player will receive a world championships Parardise Resort 2025 promo. Bet it’s as generic as it sounds. 😴
For those of us who can’t be bothered to attend in person (and let’s be real, who would?), you can watch the action on YouTube or Twitch. The Pokemon World Championships will take place from August 15 until August 17, so mark your calendars if you’re into that sort of thing.

Pokémon Concierge

Netflix is back with another season of *Pokémon Concierge*, because apparently, we need more wholesome content in our lives. 🙄 A trailer was revealed, showing Haru facing her mysterious ex that she fled from by coming to the Pokémon Resort. Bet it’s gonna be full of heartwarming moments and life lessons, just what we all wanted. 🙄
The series returns in September 2025, bringing a brand new group of stories and new Pokémon to the island. Get ready to binge-watch and pretend you have feelings! 🥲

Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu

In a stunning display of creativity, a brand new Pokémon stop motion series was announced from the Aardman x Pokémon collaboration. A small teaser trailer was shown of a Wooloo eating an apple while other rowdy Pokémon antics proceeded in the background. What does that have to do with Sirfetch’d or Pichu? Absolutely nothing! 🤣

The series is set to launch in 2027, so get ready for more painfully slow animation and predictable storylines. 😴

Poképark Kanto

Because virtual Pokémon aren’t enough, The Pokémon Company unveiled PokéPark Kanto. This new area in Japan brings an actual Pokémon enclosure to the real world, and allows people to co-exist alongside their favourite creatures. The park will be located on in a forest behind Yomiuriland in the Tama area of Tokyo, Japan. PokéPark Kanto will feature a range of Pokémon-themed attractions and events designed to immerse visitors in the Pokémon world.

Ticket sales are planned for Poképark Kanto at the end of 2025, with a grand opening scheduled for 2026. Get ready to spend all your money on overpriced merchandise and staged photo ops! 💸

Pokémon Friends

A new puzzle game was revealed, because apparently, we haven’t had enough brain-numbing experiences in our lives. 🤯 After solving puzzles, you can snag a nifty new plush to decorate your base with. What a reward! 🥳
*Pokémon Friends* is available today on Nintendo Switch, iOS and Androids.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A new tera raid event will kick off, featuring the treasures of ruin in their shiny variants: Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao,Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu. But here’s the catch: the global Pokémon community has to work together to defeat these shiny creatures one million times each to obtain the ability to catch these shiny variants. Talk about a grind! 😩

Fans can also grab a nifty new tracksuit in Scarlet and Violet by entering the following Mystery Gift code: STRACKSU1T for *Pokémon* *Scarlet*, and VTRACKSU1T for *Pokémon Violet*. Because who doesn’t want to look like a generic trainer? 🤡

Pokémon Champions

The upcoming *Pokémon Colliseum* successor, *Pokémon Champions* revealed you can link the title to Pokémon Home and bring beloved creatures from any title into the game. Pokémon Champions allows player to engage in single, and double battles for a variety of different strategies to face opposing trainers with.
*Pokémon Champions* allows trainers to easily train individual stats, making EV training a sinch, and customizing Pokémon for the battlefield has never appeared simpler. The new *Pokémon Champions* title will launch sometime in 2026. Get ready for more of the same old battles with slightly updated graphics. 🥱

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

As the grand finale, a new trailer was shown for Pokémon Legends Z-A, showcasing Mega Evolution in action and revealing brand new story beats for what trainers will be able to accomplish in Lumiose City. After arriving in Lumiose City, you will be invited to join Team MZ, the self proclaimed protectors of Lumiose City. Prepare to be underwhelmed! 😒

Trainers will notice Luimiose City is different on its day and night cycle. In the daytime, trainers can find and catch new Pokémon, and by night, trainers will have to contend with other battlers. Lumiose City offers many ways to have fun outside of Pokémon Battling, as a character from *Pokemon X and Y*’s post-game story, Emma, was shown in her best Looker cosplay (a detective outfit), and Professor Mabel (a name shared with an admin of the villainous Team Flare from Kalos) will provide research opportunities. After listening to fans frustration with the lack of customization options in *Scarlet and Violet*, *Pokémon Legends: Z-A* will feature a wealth of fashion options, letting fans dress their character how they please.

Trainers can also travel around the confines of Lumiose City and help inhabitants with problems and net sweet rewards by doing so. Trainers will learn Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon will litter the city, demanding the player deal with these creatures with your own Mega Evolution and recruit Team MZ to help out. Mega Dragonite has been revealed for the first time, and it features Dragonair design traits, such as wings on its head and a blue orb on its tail. This confirms what fans have thought, there will be new Mega Evolutions in *Legends Z-A*. *Pokémon Legends Z-A* releases on October 22, 2025.

And that’s a wrap, folks! 🎉 Another Pokémon Presents in the books, filled with disappointment and recycled ideas. But hey, at least we got a new tracksuit, right? 🙃
