OMG! 😱 Warframe is FINALLY giving us The Old Peace on December 10th! 🗓️ Get ready to have your mind BLOWN… or maybe just slightly inconvenienced. Who knows? 🤔
So, apparently, this “Old Peace” thingy was first mentioned WAY back at TennoCon 🙄. It’s supposed to be about the Operator’s past, which, let’s be honest, nobody REALLY cares about.😴 But hey, at least we get to visit the Tau System 🌌 for the first time! And guess what? We get to play as Excalibur Prime! 🎉…for the quest missions only. Because why would they let us have fun all the time? 😒 We’ll be battling in trenches (so original 🙄) and fighting massive titans (because we haven’t done THAT before 🙄). Oh, and we’ll meet a “forgotten friend” named Adis, a Sentient. Sounds riveting. 😒 Apparently, there was a truce between the Orokin and the Sentients 🤝, and this update will tell us how it all went BOOM! 💥 (Spoiler alert: it fell apart. 🤷♀️)
But wait, there’s MORE! The Focus system is getting an “expansion.” Translation: They’re adding more stuff to grind for! 😩 We’re getting Final Fantasy-style “limit break” moves! 🤩…that you can only unlock after completing the new questline. 🙄 And you need new Tektoylst Artifacts to unlock them, which are “equippable weapons for the Operator or Drifter.”🙄 The Operator is also getting a graphical overhaul. 🥳 Finally! Maybe now they won’t look like potatoes! 🥔
AND…drumroll please…🥁 we’re getting ANOTHER storyline called “The Devil’s Triad”! 😈 Featuring Uriel, the 63rd Warframe (who’s counting? 🤷♀️), and Protoframes for Harrow and Wisp. Because we definitely needed MORE Warframes. 🙄 The Protoframes will have relationship mechanics accessible through the KIM system from Warframe 1999. 🤡

The “Dark Refractium” is where you’ll spend most of your time. Yay! 😒 There are two new modes: “Descendia,” a 21-stage gauntlet where you descend through an Orokin tower. Sounds…thrilling? 🙄 And “Perita Rebellion,” a “12-Minute War” mode. You complete objectives to earn power-ups, then fight a boss! So innovative! 🙄 One of the bosses is Hunhullis from the TennoCon trailer, and you fight him in an Archwing! 🪽 Because Archwing is everyone’s favorite thing ever! 😂
Digital Extremes is being SO generous. 🥰 They’re letting new players join their experienced friends in these new modes, even if they haven’t completed the prerequisite quest! 😇 They can temporarily bypass the story content! 🤯 A taste of what awaits them, like hours and hours of grinding! 😈
